Makeup is something I have loved and enjoyed doing since the start of secondary school, so I thought I’d share with you the products which I pretty much use daily and have done for a very long time plus a few extra little discoveries I’ve found over lockdown. When it comes to makeup, I like to keep it simple and affordable. Most of my products are from a drugstore such as Boots or Superdrug however I do also have some more expensive products which I use as I definitely think they are worth the money. Also you’ll be able to see from the photos in this post, how often I do use these products as most of the packaging is a bit damaged and writing has worn away due to the amount of times I use them. Just thought I’d let you know in advance about that!
Urban Decay NAKED Colour Correcting Fluid
First of all, I have the Urban Decay NAKED Colour correcting fluid in green. I only use this product if I have any blemishes or redness that I would like to cover. I find this product perfect for the days I’m a lot more insecure about my skin and it really is a life saver for when I have any huge breakouts. This is on the more expensive side however I do think it is worth the money. Aswell there are a few other colours so if your interested check them out.

L’Oréal True Match Foundation
This product I have already wrote a review on my blog which is here if you wanted to check it out, but this foundation is perfect for my skin it is very light weight so is really good for everyday wear.

Collection Lasting Perfection concealer
This concealer has been a staple in my makeup bag for the past 5 years I would say, I find it gives the perfect coverage and brightens under my eyes the way I need it to. I have this in the shade 0 – Extra fair. My skin is quite pale, so I find it difficult to find a concealer which is right for my skin tone however this one is perfect. To top it all off this is very affordable product which is amazing if you’re looking for affordable makeup looks.

BAD gal lash
When it comes to mascara, I regularly use the same one over and over again this was always the Too Faced ‘Better than Sex’ mascara which is honestly one of the best mascara I have ever used. However, through lockdown I sorted my makeup out and found a range of mascara which hadn’t ever been opened yet so I’ve decided to work my way through them. I tested out the Benefit BAD gal lash mascara and it is amazing it makes my eyelashes look a lot fuller and longer so this is a definite must have for me so it will definitely get bought again.

Supercat Skinny Soap & Glory
For years I couldn’t do eyeliner it always looked a mess and I didn’t have a steady hand, I tried out so many products, but I couldn’t get on with any of them. Then I found this Soap & Glory black eyeliner and I’ve been rebuying this for years as for me I get on with it very well. When this runs out, I am thinking of changing it up a bit to try out some new products but this will always be an essential in my makeup bag.

Collection Eyebrow kit
Doing my eyebrows and what product I use depends on the day. For everyday wear, I just use the Collection brunette eye brow kit as it is affordable and does the job I need it to do the shades in the kit are perfect as you can use more than one shade to get your desired colour – you can tell which one I use the most! If I’m going out or it’s a special occasion I tend to use my benefit eyebrow products due to these being more expensive I do not want to waste them by using everyday, a review of these will be up soon.

Rimmel Stay Matte powder
I have used this powder for so long now as I use it daily and so far it has been working really well however I’ve got to the point where I want to try something new so if you have any recommendations I’d really like to know leave a comment or message me on Instagram.

This is actually only a product I’ve started to use throughout lockdown, usually I wouldn’t wear bronzer I have no idea why but it was always a product I avoided but I have to admit I love this bronzer as I’m so pale it adds a nice amount of colour to my face. I got this one in a benefit advent calendar so it’s not the full product packaging you would normally get but I am definitely going to order a new one when it runs out.

MUA Shimmer Highlight Powder
I bought this highlighter as I had heard some really good things about it and it definitely did not disappoint. I have the shade Golden Scintillation and it gives a lovely golden glow (you may be able to see it in my Instagram photos). They have other lovely shades, so I’ll be looking to add some into my makeup collection.
